That's just odd. But kind of interesting, none the less.
I'm not really surprised. I watched a movie in hs about dialects in the US and it seemed that the NE corner still retains a lot of the European flair. Unfortunately I didn't really get to vary much in my answers, if at all - they were all very much "they sound different." What a challenge!
